Help us make a meaningful difference in the fight against cancer. All proceeds from our sweet corn sales will be matched dollar for dollar and donated directly to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, along with funds raised through raffles and additional contributions.
Come out, connect with community, and share your stories as we honour the loved ones in our lives who have been affected by cancer. Together, we remember, we support, and we give - one kernel at a time.
Our Mission for Mikey
5 years ago, we held our very first Sweet Corn for Cancer fundraiser, as a way for us at Chary Produce to honour and remember Mikey, and loved ones affected by cancer.
Our goal initially was to raise money in support of the Juravinski Cancer Centre, however since 2022, this fundraiser has developed into so much more- which is why every year, we take a step back to remember why we started.
Cancer has touched all of our hearts in some way, whether it has been personally, a spouse, a parent, a child, or a friend. When supporting our Sweet Corn for Cancer fundraiser on July 25th, take the opportunity to connect with each other and your community, share stories and remember your loved ones that have been affected by Cancer.
Each year we are overcome with support and compassion from our community and other local businesses, and each year, this day serves as a moving reminder of the strength found in unity. It gives us the opportunity to honour those we’ve lost, stand with those still fighting, and cherish the memories that continue to inspire us. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who joins us. Your kindness and solidarity make all the difference.
