Hummus is the perfect snack staple for busy days on the go! It's also a great appetizer for entertaining!
Garlic to taste
1 can garbanzo beans
1/3 cup tahini
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup roasted red peppers
1/4 tsp dry basil (or a few fresh leaves)
salt and pepper
To make the hummus, put the following in a food processor:
Garlic to taste, 1 can garbanzo beans, 1/3 cup tahini, 1/3 lemon juice, ½ cup roasted red peppers, ¼ tsp dry basil or a few leaves of fresh basil, salt and pepper.
Mix in food processor until smooth.
Chill until ready to serve!
