GROWING
Our growing season begins in April. After
the land is carefully worked, we are ready to begin planting.
Strips of rye grass are left to grow between every nine rows
(fifty feet) to help break the wind and protect the young
seedlings. Plastic mulch is put down with drip irrigation
tape underneath. This helps conserve moisture and get the
water right down to the plant’s roots where it is needed.

Crop tours are a regular part of our season
where we monitor growth, weeds, insects and other plant diseases.
It’s always an exciting time watching the progress of
the crops and anticipating the first harvest of fresh veggies!
Here we are inspecting sweet corn and cucumbers.

HARVESTING
At just the right time, we begin hand harvesting
our crops. Our crews work carefully to bring the best of the
crop into the packbarn.

PACKING
We use state of the art technology to bring
our produce to our customers.
We pack our produce in a variety of containers
according to our customer’s requirements.
We have created a Food Safety System that
allows us to track quality and freshness.
